Clinical trials confirm the efficacy of BlaDimiR

Five Spanish hospitals are testing a new methodology for diagnosing bladder cancer. A research team has developed BlaDimiR, a system that can detect the disease and predict the success of treatment. The system is currently in clinical trials with samples from more than 1,500 patients to validate its effectiveness.

Spain has the second highest incidence rate of bladder cancer in the world, after Egypt. This type of tumor is the fourth most common in men, after lung, prostate, and colorectal cancer, according to data from the Spanish Association Against Cancer¹, and represents 4.7% of tumor cases in men and 1.6% in women.
